ISSMO/Springer Prize
Any paper presented at WCSMO 13 by a “young” researcher (under the age of 35, primary author) can be proposed as a recipient of the ISSMO/Springer Prize by any participant of the congress. The prize-winning paper will be selected by the ISSMO Executive committee.

1The work should be entirely or primarily done by the young researchers, a supervisor might also be on the paper, but the first author must be the nominee.

2During the abstract submission process through http://www.wcsmo13.org, you will be asked if you would like to be considered for the ISSMO/Springer Prize and fit the requirements (age, primary author). Identified candidates will be marked in the program to inform attendees of eligibility.

3Candidates must be nominated by WCSMO participants based on the strength of their presentation as before.

4Full paper submission for the congress proceedings is not required before the congress. Nominated candidates will be informed of their nomination by the Secretary General (SG) of ISSMO and asked if they wish to submit a full paper to be formally considered for the ISSMO/Springer Prize. The submitted full paper must not yet be accepted by a journal or published (online or in print) as of the last day of WCSMO 13.

5 . The prize-winning paper will benefit from Free Open Access for five (5) weeks from the date of on-line publication.
